Instrumentation Design Engineer

About the role

Join our dynamic engineering team in Doha, Qatar, as an Instrumentation Design Engineer, delivering detailed engineering solutions for oil & gas projects. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive instrumentation documentation and ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare instrument index, I/O list, loop diagrams, hook‑ups, cable schedules, and JB layouts.
• Develop and review P&IDs in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform instrument sizing and material take‑offs (MTO).
• Review vendor documents and support procurement activities.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, ISA, and API standards.
• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, AutoCAD, and SPI.
• Proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage technical documentation.
