Insurance Sales Specialist

About the role

The Insurance Sales Specialist will drive sales of savings and protection products for Commercial Bank of Qatar, working closely with Relationship Managers and branch teams. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, building a strong client pipeline, and delivering high‑quality service to premium customers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets while maintaining a balanced product mix of protection and savings.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and branch sales officers to generate new business and activate untapped client data.
• Manage the end‑to‑end underwriting process for new applications, ensuring completeness of documentation and compliance with underwriting guidelines.
• Facilitate the provision of policy statements and fund fact sheets to the sales team in a timely manner.
• Attend joint client meetings with RMs and support portfolio reviews on a quarterly basis.
• Provide premium client service for high‑value accounts (USD 1 million+).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in insurance or banking.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (bilingual).
• Strong knowledge of the Qatari market and insurance industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
