Investment Director (Remote)

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based investment firm seeking an Investment Director to lead research and oversee the full investment lifecycle. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape the firm’s analytical framework, enhance portfolio operations and drive high‑quality investment decisions across a global, diversified portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead due‑diligence efforts: source, screen and evaluate investment opportunities across strategies, geographies and asset classes.
• Coordinate the end‑to‑end due‑diligence process, maintain trackers, and produce comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Conduct macroeconomic and market analysis, monitor central‑bank policy and geopolitical developments, and translate insights into scenario analyses and portfolio positioning recommendations.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with fund managers to assess performance, risk metrics and organisational stability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimise research capabilities and drive analytical excellence throughout the investment division.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in investment management, research, portfolio management or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a related quantitative discipline.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, complex instruments and risk assessment.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑stakeholder projects and communicate findings clearly.

Required skills

• Python programming for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages such as R or SQL (preferred).
