IT Instructor

About the role

The Qatar Technical Institute is seeking an IT Instructor to develop and deliver IT modules for its Foundation programme in Doha. The role involves classroom and workshop teaching, assessment design and contributing to continuous improvement of the institute.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver IT courses in line with quality and delivery targets.
• Design lesson plans with clear learning objectives using an online Learning Management System.
• Conduct assessments according to the institute’s assessment strategy.
• Maintain a customer‑focused approach and ensure student satisfaction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide a unified teaching approach.
• Ensure all SHE requirements and statutory, regulatory and corporate compliance are met.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience teaching IT with English as the medium of instruction.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• Teaching qualification such as B.Ed. or PGCE in an IT‑based subject.
• Experience designing training following BSAT/DSAT or ADDIE models.
• Ability to teach engineering, science or mathematics if required.
• Preferred experience teaching in the Middle East or in vocational settings.
