IT Specialist – Cluster Operations

About the role

The IT Specialist – Cluster Operations will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining and supporting the hotel’s computer networks, workstations and server systems at The Pearl Island in Doha. The role includes providing end‑user support, ensuring network security and managing hardware and software assets.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and test LAN/WAN networks, workstations and server equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software and telephone systems.
• Manage user accounts, disk space and backup procedures, ensuring data protection.
• Provide technical guidance and training to users on system use and security.
• Coordinate equipment moves, additions, changes and upgrades.
• Implement network security measures and monitor for issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets.
• Escalate major problems to vendors or external technicians.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum two years of relevant IT experience.
• Ability to work independently and follow company policies.
• Good communication skills and professional demeanor.
