IT Systems & Support Technician

About the role

The IT Systems & Support Technician will ensure the stability, security and smooth operation of all IT systems across the Society Sport Center’s clubs and head office. Reporting to the Group IT Manager and working closely with the Operations Director, this hands‑on role combines day‑to‑day user support with responsibility for key infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line support for hardware, software, network connectivity and user access across all locations.
• Log, prioritize and resolve incidents promptly, acting as the primary point of contact for IT issues.
• Travel to club sites to deliver on‑site support, including onboarding/off‑boarding, device provisioning and Microsoft 365 setup.
• Maintain and support business‑critical systems such as membership management, CRM, access‑control, POS, and scheduling platforms.
• Manage IT hardware inventory, wired and wireless networks, CCTV, AV equipment and other infrastructure.
• Coordinate with external vendors and the external app development team for the Society app project.
• Document system configurations, troubleshooting guides and maintain an accurate IT asset register.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience delivering first‑ and second‑line IT support in a multi‑site environment.
• Ability to travel between locations and work independently on‑site.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience supporting hardware, networking and peripheral devices.
