About the role
The L1/L2 App Support Engineer will provide first‑ and second‑level technical support for SharePoint environments and .NET‑based web applications in a production setting. The role focuses on incident investigation, troubleshooting, and ensuring service availability for end‑users.
Key responsibilities
- Administer SharePoint sites, site collections, lists, libraries and manage permissions, security groups and role assignments.
- Support SharePoint web parts, pages, workflows and resolve performance or functionality issues.
- Monitor SharePoint health, services and application availability.
- Provide L1/L2 support for .NET web applications, including debugging using logs and tracing tools.
- Maintain IIS‑hosted applications, identify root causes of failures and coordinate fixes with development teams.
- Perform detailed log analysis (application, IIS, system logs) and conduct root‑cause analysis for recurring incidents.
- Escalate complex technical problems with clear evidence and ensure resolution within SLA timelines.
Required profile
- Proven experience in SharePoint administration and .NET application support.
- Strong analytical skills for incident investigation, debugging and log analysis.
- Good understanding of production support environments and incident management processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with development teams to validate fixes.
