Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Laundry Attendant will support the Laundry Department of Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara, ensuring that all linens and guest clothing are cleaned to the highest standards. This role is essential for delivering the memorable, heartfelt hospitality that the resort promises to its guests.

Key responsibilities

• Collect soiled linens and clothing from guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house locations.
• Sort laundry by colour, fabric type and level of soiling.
• Apply appropriate stain‑treatment methods before washing.
• Operate industrial washing, drying and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry work area.
• Coordinate with the dry‑cleaning section to ensure timely processing of special items.

Required profile

• New graduate or at least three months of training/experience in housekeeping or laundry.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Fair English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Required skills

• Ability to sort laundry by colour and fabric type.
• Experience with stain‑treatment procedures.
• Proficiency in operating industrial washing and drying machines.
