Laundry Technician – Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

About the role

The Laundry Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on laundry equipment, supporting the team and contributing to departmental improvement initiatives. The role also involves reporting faults to engineers and ensuring high‑quality work.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks accurately and on schedule.
• Carry out corrective maintenance tasks promptly and complete them within required timeframes.
• Assist subcontractors with their assigned work and ensure compliance with standards.
• Report defects, breakdowns, and spare‑part requirements to the Fault Reporting Center or designated engineers.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and follow all instructions from supervisors and engineers.

Required profile

• ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Familiarity with regulations such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA and BS.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work under tight deadlines.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
