Legal Counsel – Commercial & Entertainment Law

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join a rapidly expanding international entertainment organisation, providing commercial legal support across Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Support sponsorship, partnership and supplier agreement negotiations.
• Provide practical day‑to‑day legal advice to business stakeholders.
• Advise on intellectual property, branding and content‑related matters.
• Assist with dispute management and pre‑litigation issues.
• Liaise with and manage external legal counsel where required.
• Support the development of legal templates, policies and processes.
• Contribute to wider legal, governance and commercial initiatives across the business.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer from a Common Law jurisdiction.
• Approximately 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong training from a reputable international or leading regional law firm.
• Strong attention to detail with sound legal judgement.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, business‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Experience across commercial, corporate or TMT matters.
