Legal Counsel (Corporate & Commercial Law)

About the role

Maxit Advertising LLC is seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to protect the company’s reputation and ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws. You will provide timely legal advice to senior management and help shape the firm’s risk‑management strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate counsel on labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance and related topics.
• Collaborate with management to develop effective defence and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Draft, review and finalise contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Define internal governance policies and monitor ongoing compliance.
• Research and assess legal risks associated with business decisions.
• Negotiate and communicate with regulators, external counsel and public authorities.
• Explain legal terminology and requirements to all internal stakeholders.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislative changes.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a practising lawyer or in‑house counsel.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; French is a plus.
• Proven experience providing legal advice in a business environment.
• Strong understanding of corporate law, procedures and external corporate influences.
• High professional ethics, integrity and sound judgement.
