About the role

We are looking for a qualified Lifeguard to ensure the safety of guests and staff at the pool area of Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara. The role involves monitoring swimming zones during business hours and responding swiftly to any water‑related emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise designated swimming areas and enforce safety rules during posted business hours.
• Maintain and set up safety equipment, including flotation devices, rescue boat, first‑aid kits, and appropriate flag signals.
• Conduct regular checks of pool depth markings, water and air temperatures, and display business hours.
• Provide immediate response to emergencies, performing rescues and administering first aid or CPR as needed.
• Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure a safe environment and perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Valid Lifeguard certification with authorization to perform AR and CPR.
• 2–5 years of lifeguarding experience, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
• Strong English communication skills and a pleasant, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and maintain vigilance throughout shifts.
