Lifting Equipment Supervisor

About the role

The project seeks an experienced Lifting Equipment Supervisor to lead all lifting and rigging activities on site. You will ensure safe execution of lifts, compliance with approved plans, and adherence to HSE standards within a fast‑paced construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting and rigging operations on site.
• Verify crane certifications, lifting equipment condition, and operator competency.
• Conduct toolbox talks, pre‑lift meetings, and enforce safety procedures.
• Inspect lifting gear, ensure proper usage and maintenance, and stop unsafe activities.
• Maintain accurate records of lifting operations, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with crane operators, riggers, and site teams to develop and follow lifting plans.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Valid Lifting Supervisor Certification (e.g., LEEA or other third‑party approved).
• Minimum five years of experience in lifting supervision within the Oil & Gas or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and safe lifting procedures.
• Must be present in Qatar with a valid QID and eligible for a free visa.
