Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, its guests, and assets in West Bay, Doha. This role involves patrolling all areas, assisting guests with access, and responding swiftly to emergencies and incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol the entire property and monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress, and fire safety systems.
• Assist guests with room access and provide support during emergencies.
• Respond to accidents, administer first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS when needed.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and maintain order without disrupting operations.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and daily activity logs while maintaining confidentiality.
• Conduct physical hazard inspections, lock property entrances as required, and report safety hazards.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.
• Communicate clearly with guests, staff, and external authorities, adhering to company policies.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and respond quickly to situations.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted and up to 75 lb with assistance.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
