Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, its guests and assets in Doha, Qatar. This role involves proactive patrolling, monitoring security systems and responding swiftly to incidents to maintain a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor closed‑circuit television (CCTV), perimeter alarms, duress alarms and fire life‑safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily physical hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR or contact emergency medical services.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies and defuse disturbances.
• Complete incident reports and daily loss‑prevention shift summaries.
• Escort unwelcome persons from the property while maintaining operational flow.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence and conduct interviews.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security and property information.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 kg unassisted (75 kg with assistance).
• Clear communication skills in English.
• Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety procedures and confidentiality agreements.
