Machine Operator – Digital Printing & Fabrication

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join Burjline Builders’ production team in Doha. The role focuses on operating digital printing and fabrication equipment to deliver high‑quality branding, event, exhibition, and signage projects on an urgent basis.

Key responsibilities

• Operate large‑ and small‑format digital printers (UV, solvent, eco‑solvent, latex) and related finishing equipment such as CNC routers, plotters, laser cutters and laminators.
• Prepare substrates, inks and materials, perform test prints, and adjust settings for alignment, sizing and colour accuracy.
• Carry out cutting, trimming, laminating, mounting, routing and assembly of materials including vinyl, acrylic, MDF, foam board, aluminum, PVC, fabric and paper.
• Prepare and modify artwork using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and basic InDesign, and verify print‑ready files (AI, PDF, PSD, EPS).
• Run RIP software, manage production queues, perform basic colour calibration and quality checks.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical or software issues and conduct routine cleaning, calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain production records, monitor material usage and coordinate with designers, project managers and the production team.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or certification in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Proven experience operating digital printers, CNC machines or similar fabrication equipment.
• Strong practical knowledge of colour management, print quality control and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read artworks, layouts, technical drawings and job instructions.
• Physically capable of handling production materials and working extended hours when required.
• Immediate availability.
