Maintenance Engineer

About the role

As a Maintenance Engineer in our hotel, you will ensure that the building, mechanical, electrical and life‑safety systems operate flawlessly, creating a safe and comfortable environment for guests. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate with external contractors and respond quickly to service requests, embodying Hilton’s commitment to hospitality excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Train, schedule and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring high‑quality workmanship.
• Maintain compliance with local and national safety regulations for mechanical, electrical, HVAC and life‑safety systems.
• Assign daily maintenance tasks, document work in the property management system, and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
• Supervise external contractors, inspect completed work for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests, concerns and emergency situations.
• Perform scheduled and ad‑hoc repairs on fixtures, fittings and equipment to keep all hotel assets in safe condition.
