Maintenance Supervisor – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all hotel equipment, tools and facilities are operating safely and efficiently. Working on‑site at the Conference Centre Street location, you will lead a team to deliver preventative maintenance, respond to guest repair requests, and support life‑safety systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances and equipment.
• Calibrate controls, gauges and meters; locate and operate shut‑off valves.
• Order, label, stock parts and maintain inventory and purchase‑order logs.
• Conduct life‑safety checks, including fire‑pump and generator run tests, and inspect fire‑sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
• Assist in developing disaster‑response protocols and respond to guest repair requests.
• Support management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching staff.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies; report hazards and complete required safety training.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, reaching overhead, and operating a power lift.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum 2 years of related maintenance experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.
