Manager - Transaction Accounting & Capital Markets

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Manager to lead Transaction Accounting and Capital Markets engagements for our FAAS practice in the MENA region. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will work with high‑profile clients on IPOs, debt issuances and other capital‑raising activities, providing assurance, regulatory and reporting support.

Key responsibilities

• Utilise audit expertise to deliver high‑quality assurance services.
• Lead and deliver technical accounting support for complex transactions.
• Project‑manage capital‑market transactions and coach junior staff.
• Collaborate with audit teams and clients to develop risk‑based strategies.
• Ensure timely delivery that meets client expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to internal EY policies and external regulatory standards.
• Build and maintain an international professional network.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years experience in a consulting firm, audit or accounting advisory.
• Experience conducting audits; PCAOB audit experience preferred.
• CPA, CA or ACCA certification.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP (advantageous).
• Experience advising clients on capital‑raise transactions.
• Strong management skills to lead, delegate, mentor and review performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Flexibility to travel on short notice.
