Managing Director – Qatar Operations

About the role

We are seeking a highly connected Managing Director to lead and expand our market presence in Qatar. The role will drive capital‑raising initiatives, advisory mandates, and strategic partnerships across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow the firm’s Qatar operations and market presence.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with government entities, semi‑government organisations, private sector leaders, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and institutional investors.
• Drive capital‑raising initiatives, targeting USD 500M+ from MENA‑based investors.
• Identify and execute strategic investment and partnership opportunities.
• Represent the firm in high‑level engagements with decision‑makers and industry leaders.
• Build a strong local ecosystem to support business growth.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in investment advisory, private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategic consulting.
• Proven track record of raising USD 500M+ from MENA investors.
• Exceptional network and credibility with senior stakeholders across Qatar’s government, semi‑government, and private sectors.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in establishing and scaling business operations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
