Market Insights Manager – Qatar

About the role

The Market Insights Manager will lead the development of marketing intelligence capabilities for a fast‑growing transport and mobility organisation in Qatar. Reporting to senior leadership, you will turn data on market trends, travel behaviour and competitor activity into actionable recommendations that drive ridership growth and product adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the company’s marketing intelligence function, delivering evidence‑based insights to senior management.
• Own market, customer‑segment, travel‑behaviour, competitor, product‑adoption and campaign performance intelligence.
• Conduct and oversee market research, competitor benchmarking, travel‑behaviour studies, brand perception and campaign effectiveness analyses.
• Identify international and regional best practices relevant to marketing, product growth, station activation and partnership strategies.
• Translate large‑scale data sets (ridership patterns, fare uptake, digital engagement, social media signals) into clear management recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Transport Planning, Urban Mobility, Data Science, Psychology, Sociology or Business Administration; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 12‑15 years of experience in market intelligence, customer research, marketing analytics or transport analytics, with at least 5 years in a senior strategic advisory role.
• Proven track record in public transport, mobility, aviation, travel, tourism, destination marketing or large‑scale consumer services.
• Experience advising senior management using research, data and sector knowledge.
• Strong background managing research agencies, data vendors or external consultants.
