Master Paint Technician

About the role

The Master Paint Technician is responsible for preparing and finishing automotive surfaces to manufacturer specifications. This role ensures high‑quality workmanship, safety compliance, and efficient use of painting tools and technology within Al‑Futtaim Automotive’s workshop in Doha.

Key responsibilities

• Apply body filler and sand surfaces to prepare them for painting.
• Apply primer and paint according to the manufacturer’s repair standards.
• Operate compounding and polishing machines to restore the finish of older vehicles.
• Maintain repair quality and body durability in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Review repeat‑repair and final inspection reports to prevent recurring issues.
• Implement safety practices, using respirators and protective clothing.
• Keep tools and work area clean and orderly.
• Participate in team safety discussions and report incidents to supervisors.

Required skills

• Experience using compounding and polishing machines for high‑quality finishes.
