Mechanical Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead EPC construction projects in the Oil & Gas sector. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle from mobilization to final handover, ensuring safety, quality, and budget targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute project execution strategies, construction methodologies, schedules, and resource plans.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedules, implement corrective actions, and ensure timely milestone completion.
• Manage multidisciplinary construction activities across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, and utilities.
• Supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and site supervisors, allocating manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, consultants, EPC contractors, and stakeholders, conducting regular progress reviews.
• Control project budgets, cost forecasts, variations, change orders, and contractual correspondence.
• Coordinate resource planning with procurement, logistics, HR, and engineering departments.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, client safety standards, and statutory regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 12–20 years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects, with at least 5 years as a Project Manager.
• GCC project experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• PMP certification (preferred).
• MMUP/UPDA certification (preferred).
• Proven expertise in project planning, schedule and cost control.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Knowledge of HSE compliance and permit‑to‑work processes.
