MEP Cost Manager – Data Centre

About the role

Turner & Townsend is looking for an MEP Cost Manager to support the delivery of a major Data Centre project in Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pre‑ and post‑contract cost activities for MEP packages, including estimating, planning, procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations, change management and final account settlement.
• Prepare and maintain detailed MEP cost estimates, budgets and cost plans throughout all project stages.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure MEP designs are commercially viable and aligned with budget objectives.
• Lead the procurement process for MEP works, preparing tender documents, analysing bids and recommending contracts.
• Provide cost control, financial reporting, forecasting and commercial advice during project delivery.
• Assess and manage variations, claims and change requests, delivering accurate valuations and cost impact assessments.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• 5–15 years of post‑graduate experience in MEP cost management on large‑scale, mission‑critical or Data Centre projects.
• Professional membership (e.g., MRICS) is an advantage.
• Proficient user of MS Office with advanced skills in MS Excel.
