Mobile Developer (Android)

About the role

The Android Mobile Developer will design, build and maintain native Android applications for a fast‑growing tech team in Doha. You will ensure high performance, usability and security while collaborating closely with designers and backend engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android apps using Java and Kotlin in Android Studio.
• Integrate third‑party APIs, SDKs and backend services.
• Guarantee compatibility across a range of devices and Android OS versions.
• Apply secure coding practices and optimise app performance.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Write and execute unit tests, troubleshoot bugs and prepare releases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of proven Android development experience.
• Currently residing in Qatar.
• Preferred certifications: Google Associate Android Developer, Kotlin Certified Developer, Firebase Developer Certification.
