MOCC Engineer – Qatar Executive (Doha)

About the role

The MOCC Engineer for Qatar Executive will be based in Doha and will continuously monitor technical defects across the Qatar Airways commercial fleet. The role aims to improve dispatch reliability, reduce delays and groundings, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support 24/7/365 MOCC operations, reporting to the MOCC Lead Engineer.
• Maintain accurate shift logs and handovers for seamless information transfer.
• Follow established MOCC procedures and inform senior CAMO management of any schedule‑impacting defects.
• Monitor repetitive defects, propose remedial actions, and work with CAMO to adjust routine task frequencies.
• Coordinate with contracted and non‑contracted MROs to ensure continued airworthiness.
• Ensure all work complies with the QE Continued Maintenance Organization Exposition.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to order parts and materials needed for discrepancy rectification.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of certifying experience, including 4 years in MOCC operations.
• Type rating preferably on Gulfstream G650ER/G700 or Global 5000 (BD‑700) aircraft.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
