Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Network Security Engineer to own, harden, and evolve our client’s enterprise network infrastructure across datacenters, campus environments, and cloud‑connected perimeters. The role focuses on Cisco, PaloAlto, Fortinet, and F5 technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and harden network devices including Cisco Nexus & Catalyst switches/routers, wireless controllers, Cisco ISE, F5 WAF, and PaloAlto & Fortinet firewalls.
• Maintain LAN/WAN/wireless infrastructure through patching, audits, upgrades, and change management.
• Monitor datacenter health, respond to incidents, and drive proactive security improvements aligned with CIS Controls® and MITRE ATT&CK® frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on network projects, documentation, and ticket resolution.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in network security operations.
• CCNP Enterprise & Security certification (required).
• PCNSA / PCNSE certification (required).
• F5 301 / 303 certification (required).
• Additional security/network certifications are a plus.
• Based in Doha, Qatar.

• Cisco ISE.
• Cisco Nexus & Catalyst.
• LAN / WAN design and troubleshooting.
