Onshoring Affluent Proposition – Business Lead

About the role

The Business Lead will drive the transformation of the bank’s affluent banking proposition, converting low‑yield deposits into active investment relationships. This senior role defines the wealth growth strategy, targets client segments, and builds the operating model for a scalable affluent and wealth management business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategy to increase investment penetration and AUM among affluent clients.
• Design target client segments, personas, and value propositions aligned with wealth needs.
• Define and enhance the product suite, including mutual funds, structured products, bonds, equities, and discretionary portfolio solutions.
• Build Relationship Manager coverage models, lead hiring, training, and certification to boost investment conversion.
• Support the CIO office by establishing investment governance, portfolio construction, and advisory frameworks.
• Lead digital wealth and customer‑journey transformation to improve client experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in affluent banking, wealth management, or investment advisory.
• Strong track record of growing assets under management and fee income.
• Ability to design client segmentation and value‑proposition strategies.
• Leadership experience in building high‑performing relationship‑manager teams.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of investment products (mutual funds, structured products, bonds, equities, discretionary portfolios).
• Understanding of wealth lending solutions and digital wealth platforms.
• Experience with investment governance and advisory frameworks.
