Oracle EBS HRMS Techno-Functional Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS HRMS Techno-Functional Specialist to join our team in Doha, Qatar on a permanent basis. The role blends hands‑on application development with deep functional knowledge of HR systems, supporting HR, IT and business stakeholders throughout the application lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Oracle‑based HR applications, delivering custom solutions and improvements aligned with evolving business requirements.
• Provide technical and functional support for core HR, payroll and workforce‑management processes, investigating issues and implementing sustainable fixes.
• Design, build and maintain customisations, workflows, reports, interfaces and application extensions using Oracle development technologies.
• Participate in all phases of the application lifecycle – requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, upgrades and production support.
• Collaborate with HR, IT and other stakeholders on system integrations, documentation and continuous optimisation of enterprise applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of Oracle enterprise application experience, preferably combining HR systems development with techno‑functional responsibilities.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience supporting business‑critical applications throughout their full lifecycle.
• Excellent English communication skills; GCC experience and Arabic are a plus.

Required skills

• PL/SQL development.
• Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Oracle Workflow.
• Oracle EBS HRMS modules (employee records, payroll, time management).
• Oracle development/customisation technologies for reports, interfaces and extensions.
• Experience with reporting, interfaces and application extensions within Oracle EBS.
