About the role
We are looking for a skilled Painter and Blaster to join our shipyard operations in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying protective coatings on marine vessels and related structures.
Key responsibilities
- Perform grit blasting, sand blasting and painting tasks on shipyard components.
- Operate jet washing and steam washing equipment to clean surfaces before coating.
- Handle and operate man‑lift equipment safely, ensuring proper certification.
- Follow all safety procedures to protect personal health and that of coworkers.
Required profile
- At least a high school diploma or ALS certification.
- 3‑5 years of experience operating grit blasting machines and painting in a shipyard or marine environment.
- Valid certification for operating man‑lift equipment.
- Commitment to work safely at all times.
