Planning Engineer – Electrical (Substation Projects)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Planning Engineer to lead scheduling activities for power and electrical substation projects in Qatar and the UAE. The role focuses on developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Track progress, identify delays, and allocate resources effectively.
• Prepare look‑ahead schedules and regular progress reports.
• Coordinate scheduling information with engineering, procurement, and site teams.
• Handle extensions of time (EOT) submissions, including delay analysis and documentation.

Required profile

• B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in substation projects.
• Proven experience preparing EOT submissions and conducting delay analysis.
• Experience working on power projects in Qatar or the UAE is an advantage.
