Planning Engineer / Estimator

About the role

Ammico, a specialist geotechnical and marine contracting firm, is looking for a full‑time Planning Engineer/Estimator to join its Qatar team. The role focuses on preparing schedules, resource plans and cost estimates for complex foundation and marine projects, while supporting project control activities on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain realistic project schedules and resource plans using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender documentation for geotechnical and marine construction works.
• Monitor progress, measure variances and update plans to reflect actual performance.
• Coordinate with engineering, site, commercial and project management teams to ensure alignment of timelines, budgets and productivity targets.
• Support bid evaluation, tender preparation and reporting activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in planning, production planning and project control for civil, foundation or marine projects.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for multidisciplinary coordination.
• Familiarity with construction standards, safety regulations and quality procedures.
