Plumber Technician (DoD Secret Clearance)

About the role

We are seeking a Plumber Technician with a DoD Secret Clearance to maintain and repair plumbing systems in deployed facilities. The role involves installing, repairing, and testing a wide range of piping and mechanical equipment under extreme environmental conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems in accordance with specifications and plumbing codes.
• Study building plans and drawings to determine required materials, sequence of installations, and locate pipe routes.
• Cut openings in walls and floors, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, pipe‑threading machines, and pipe‑bending machines.
• Install valves, pipe fittings, and various pipe materials (metal, glass, vitrified clay, plastic) and join them using screws, bolts, solder, solvent, or caulk.
• Test pipe systems with water or air, read pressure gauges, and repair leaks.
• Install and service plumbing fixtures such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposals, dishwashers, and water softeners.
• Perform backflow inspection, testing, and maintenance of backflow prevention devices.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Master or Journeyman License with equivalent plumbing experience.
• Minimum 3 years of plumbing experience, including backflow inspection and maintenance.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; U.S. passport preferred.
• Ability to meet USCENTCOM deployment policy requirements and obtain a Qatar residency visa.
• Willingness to work in extreme dust, high‑temperature environments and endure long hours, weather exposure, and hazardous conditions.
• 100% travel in deployed locations and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
