Presales Solution Consultant – Application Development & Modernization

About the role

As a Presales Solution Consultant within the Application Development & Modernization Business Unit, you will act as a technical advisor and solution strategist for government and enterprise clients. You will collaborate with sales, delivery, and architecture teams to design scalable, secure, and future‑ready custom applications, guiding customers from requirement capture to solution blueprint and technical demonstration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end presales lifecycle: discovery, solution design, technical presentations, proposals and PoC creation.
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to capture requirements, pain points and transformation goals.
• Design custom application architectures using Java.NET, Python, low‑code platforms and cloud‑native services on Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Support legacy modernization initiatives, including refactoring, containerization and API enablement.
• Produce technical artefacts such as solution diagrams, proposal documents and demo environments.
• Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure seamless hand‑over and alignment with agile and DevOps practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in technical presales, solution consulting or solution architecture, preferably with a system integrator or enterprise service provider.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Java.NET, Python (or related frameworks).
• Low‑code/no‑code development platforms.
• Cloud‑native application development on Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Microsoft Azure Data & AI, Copilot and OpenAI services (optional but preferred).
• Legacy system modernization, containerization and API enablement.
• Enterprise integration, workflow orchestration and security considerations.
• Agile delivery, DevOps practices and multi‑tier application architecture.
