Primary Class Teacher

About the role

Compass International School Doha is seeking a Primary Class Teacher to deliver a high‑quality British curriculum to children aged 3‑11. You will create engaging learning experiences, foster a respectful classroom environment, and support each pupil’s academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver learning activities aligned with the school’s Primary curriculum.
• Promote high expectations and a culture where students can achieve their full potential.
• Facilitate learning through questioning, discussion, and respectful classroom management.
• Collaborate with colleagues and share specialist expertise.
• Communicate confidently with parents and diverse audiences.

Required profile

• University degree and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/QTS).
• Ideally two years of teaching experience in an international setting.
• Reflective, creative and committed to continuous professional development.
• Ability to meet Qatar visa‑related requirements.

Required skills

• Curriculum design and delivery for primary education.
