Primary PE Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Physical Education (PE) teacher to join our school in Doha. The successful candidate will deliver the English National Curriculum for PE, creating a safe, engaging and inclusive environment for young learners while supporting rapid English language acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the English National Curriculum for Physical Education with relevance, challenge and safety.
• Apply innovative pedagogical approaches in planning, teaching and learning.
• Create language‑rich learning environments to aid English acquisition.
• Ensure a happy, safe and stimulating environment for all children.
• Maintain accurate formative and summative assessment records linked to learning outcomes.
• Provide critical analysis of progress, intervention and achievement for each pupil.
• Participate in staff CPD and share best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching primary PE and strong references.
• In‑depth knowledge of the English National Curriculum for Physical Education.
• Ability to support rapid English language development in a multicultural setting.
• Commitment to student safety, wellbeing and inclusive learning.
