Primary Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join our academic team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for creating engaging, inclusive lessons that support the development of all learners and foster a safe, supportive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well‑structured lessons that meet diverse learner needs.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to promote inquiry, creativity, critical thinking and collaboration.
• Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal responsibility.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom built on positive relationships and respect.
• Integrate technology to enhance learning and develop digital skills.
• Support student agency through goal‑setting, reflection and ownership of learning.
• Implement behaviour management aligned with school policies and restorative practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and cross‑curricular connections.
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and inform instruction.
• Differentiate instruction for EAL, SEN and high‑achieving students.
• Work with the Inclusion Department and pastoral staff to provide academic and socio‑emotional support.
• Participate in team meetings, professional learning communities and whole‑school initiatives.
