Principal Electrical Engineer – Onshore

About the role

Worley is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead onshore electrical engineering services for large‑scale projects. You will be responsible for delivering engineering solutions that meet client, regulatory and company standards while driving technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage electrical engineering services to ensure compliance with Worley, client and statutory requirements, on time and within budget.
• Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports and follow change‑management procedures.
• Provide technical advice during procurement, construction and commissioning, including requisitions, bid evaluations and purchase order preparation.
• Act as the Electrical Engineering Lead on assigned projects and supervise junior team members.
• Resolve discrepancies between Worley and client requirements and keep abreast of industry innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Mandatory MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation or willingness to obtain it during probation.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is an advantage.
• Full‑time availability.
