Process Engineer

About the role

ISS International SpA is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join its team in Qatar. The role involves delivering process engineering work on assigned oil and gas projects, primarily on offshore wellhead and process platforms, under the guidance of the Lead Process Engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Perform process simulations, heat and material balances, and flare load calculations using Hysys, Unisim, and Aspen Flarenet.
• Prepare and review design deliverables such as process design basis, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, line lists, and safety charts.
• Monitor scope changes, raise change notifications, and coordinate with the Project Management Team and other discipline engineers.
• Conduct flare radiation, dispersion, depressurization, and flare network studies, and size equipment and pipelines.
• Maintain an organized filing system and assist the Lead Process Engineer with internal design reviews.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in oil and gas process engineering, preferably offshore.
• Strong understanding of process design documents, including process descriptions, data sheets, PFDs, and P&IDs.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Process simulation using Hysys and Unisim.
• Flare load and radiation calculations with Aspen Flarenet.
• Creation and interpretation of PFDs and P&IDs.
• Heat and material balance calculations.
