Project Engineer – Qatar In-Service Typhoon Availability Service

About the role

The Project Engineer will deliver Project Management activities for the Qatar In‑Service Typhoon Availability Service at Dukhan Airbase (CAM133). Working on‑site, the incumbent will coordinate performance data, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with contractual and operational governance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide deployed Project Management support to Dukhan delivery areas, running a subset of the Dukhan Business Rhythm.
• Gather, synthesize and integrate cost, resource and output data; generate regular internal and external reports.
• Coordinate risk, opportunity, change and spend reviews within each delivery team.
• Maintain integrated program schedules for non‑recurring work and measure delivery against contract requirements.
• Manage financial information for Contract Status Reports and oversee risk and opportunity registers.
• Act as the Project Management conscience, ensuring governance adherence and escalating issues as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
• Interface with junior officers of the QEAF for project delivery requirements and resource planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management within aerospace, defence or similar high‑complexity environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of working with both internal teams and external customers.
• Ability to operate autonomously on‑site and adhere to strict governance frameworks.
