Project Procurement Manager

About the role

The Project Procurement Manager will lead the procurement function for large‑scale EPC and oil‑field projects in Doha. Reporting to senior project leadership, you will develop and execute procurement strategies while mentoring a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement project‑specific procurement strategies; lead buyers, expeditors and logistics staff.
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle: sourcing, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, contract award and purchase order issuance.
• Oversee expediting activities to guarantee on‑time delivery of critical and long‑lead items, coordinating with engineering, construction and quality teams.
• Qualify vendors, negotiate major contracts and framework agreements, and resolve commercial disputes or delays.
• Collaborate with logistics and customs teams to ensure smooth site deliveries while complying with company policies and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive procurement experience in EPC and Oil & Gas, including 5+ years on offshore projects.
• At least 5 years in a managerial or project‑leadership role.
• Proven track record managing procurement for large‑scale EPC/oilfield projects.
• Extensive experience with international procurement, long‑lead items and complex supply chains.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and project‑management tools.
