Purchasing Manager – Procurement & Supplier Management

About the role

Candidzone is looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement, sourcing and supplier management for its Food & Beverage, hospitality and retail operations in Qatar. You will be responsible for building efficient procurement processes and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement end‑to‑end procurement processes from scratch.
• Manage a network of local and international suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing.
• Oversee purchase order creation, approval workflows and ensure timely delivery of fresh produce, proteins, dry goods and other F&B items.
• Coordinate with POS and inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues to guarantee quality and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, preferably within F&B, hospitality or retail.
• Proven experience in supplier management, sourcing and negotiations.
• Hands‑on knowledge of F&B procurement, including fresh produce, proteins and dry goods.
• Familiarity with purchase order and approval workflows.
• Experience in the Qatar market and an existing supplier network is strongly preferred.
• Valid Qatari ID (QID) required.
