QA/QC Engineer – Civil Infrastructure (Doha)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and control for a major civil infrastructure programme in Doha, Qatar. The role involves ensuring that engineering and construction activities meet approved specifications, standards and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor project QA/QC requirements.
• Review Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements and quality procedures.
• Conduct and coordinate site inspections and monitor workmanship.
• Review material approvals, test results and inspection documentation.
• Raise, monitor and close Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain quality records, registers and supporting documentation.
• Conduct quality audits and monitor contractor compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, laboratories and client representatives.
• Support testing, commissioning and project hand‑over documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Significant QA/QC experience on civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with ITPs, NCRs, inspections, audits, method statements and material approvals.
• Preferably experience in roads, drainage, utilities or major public infrastructure projects.
• Qatar/GCC experience and relevant QA/QC certifications are advantageous.
