QA/QC Engineer – Civil Projects

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the project's Quality Management System (QMS) for civil works. You will work closely with engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure that all site activities meet the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the project‑specific QMS.
• Conduct inspections, testing and audits of civil site activities.
• Prepare and update Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), quality control plans and checklists.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to verify supplier quality and contractual compliance.
• Analyse quality data, generate NCRs and corrective‑action reports.
• Support root‑cause analysis and the implementation of preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards on site.
• Participate in project quality meetings and liaise with third‑party inspectors.
• Maintain quality documentation and control records according to corporate standards.

Required profile

• Experience in QA/QC activities for civil construction projects.
• Familiarity with QCS 2014/2024, Shell DEP and QPAD requirements.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
