About the role
We are seeking a seasoned Quality Analyst / QA Lead to ensure the highest quality of digital banking applications for our banking clients in Doha. The role involves thorough testing, defect management, and close collaboration with development and business teams to deliver reliable mobile and internet banking solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts for digital banking applications.
- Identify, log and track defects using Jira, ensuring timely resolution.
- Perform regression testing to validate software stability after releases and updates.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Analyze test results, generate detailed reports on test coverage, defect trends and overall product quality.
- Proactively suggest process improvements and enhance testing methodologies.
Required profile
- Native Arabic speaker with bilingual proficiency.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Quality Analyst or Software Test Engineer in digital banking.
- Strong understanding of retail banking processes and channels (mobile, internet banking).
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Required skills
- Jira for test management and defect tracking.
- Agile methodologies and practices.
