Quality Inspector

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our Turbomachinery & Process Solutions team. You will be responsible for ensuring that gas turbine, centrifugal compressor and steam turbine components meet strict quality standards through thorough inspection and testing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct full‑cycle inspections including receiving, visual, dimensional, PT/UT, and final acceptance of components.
• Operate specialized inspection equipment and perform basic dimensional checks against drawings and prints.
• Record part numbers/serial numbers, raise NCRs, and manage non‑conforming material disposition.
• Coordinate with production personnel to isolate and resolve non‑conformities.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, NCRs and hold tags.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis and support CAPA implementation.
• Perform periodic calibration of measuring instruments and ensure compliance with BH standards.
• Maintain safety and environmental standards throughout all activities.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering or High School Certificate with relevant experience.
• Minimum five years of inspection experience in a gas turbine repair or service environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Self‑starter with limited supervision, strong communication skills and proactive problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• Inspection and dimensional measurement techniques.
• NDT methods: PT, UT, RT (ASNT Level II preferred).
• Use of inspection, measuring and test equipment.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
