Quality Manager

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality management and assurance for a large‑scale roads, infrastructure and drainage programme in Qatar. You will be responsible for establishing, implementing and continuously improving the project Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and local authority requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project Quality Management System and Quality Management Plan.
• Provide independent quality leadership, governance and assurance across all disciplines and work packages.
• Review contractor documentation (QMP, method statements, ITPs, material submittals, test reports) for compliance.
• Plan and conduct quarterly quality performance audits of the contractor’s QMS.
• Monitor non‑conformances, observations and deficiencies, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Report monthly quality performance, trends, risks and improvement proposals to client representatives.
• Coordinate with resident engineers, inspectors, laboratories and subcontractors to verify compliance with drawings, specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse quality data using statistical methods and drive continual improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality management within large construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and local construction specifications.
• Ability to work independently from construction supervision teams while influencing multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
