Quantity Surveyor – Estimation Specialist

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor – Estimation Specialist will lead the cost evaluation of construction projects, ensuring accurate estimates and competitive bids. You will work closely with the estimating team and senior management to deliver commercially viable proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the company’s competitive advantages and communicate them during the bidding process.
• Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analysing project data.
• Obtain accurate material and system quotes to build reliable cost estimates.
• Lead the estimation department, assign tasks and monitor progress.
• Review project drawings and specifications, develop RFIs, and prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from tender documents.
• Upload and manage project data in CANDY (CCS) software, generate professional outputs and close commercial works.
• Conduct civil rate analysis, quantity take‑offs, and evaluate subcontractor/vendor proposals.
• Issue invitations to bid, prepare bid forms, and support tender packaging and submission.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cost estimation and tender management.
• Proven ability to lead a team and distribute estimation tasks.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to follow manager instructions within set timelines.

• Revit Architecture (3D modeling).
