Quantity Surveyor

About the role

KEO is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to be seconded to a government client in Doha, Qatar. You will manage the commercial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring procurement, cost management and contract administration align with client requirements and organisational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage framework contractors and administer contracts throughout the procurement and project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with client requirements and organisational policies.
• Prepare, review and finalise tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BOQs), scopes of work, pricing schedules, draft contracts and work order selection procedures.
• Deliver accurate cost planning, estimating, commercial analysis and financial advice throughout project delivery, including value engineering, interim valuations and final account preparation.
• Administer commercial and contractual aspects of assigned contracts from inception through close‑out, handling variations, claims, dispute resolution, payment evaluations and monitoring cost and schedule performance.
• Review technical and commercial documentation such as tender submissions, service scopes, change requests, as‑built drawings and supporting data to ensure accuracy, quality and contractual compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quantity surveying, procurement and contract administration.
• Strong knowledge of cost planning, estimating and commercial analysis.
• Ability to manage framework agreements and oversee the full contract lifecycle.
• Excellent attention to detail when reviewing technical and commercial documentation.
