Recreation Attendant

About the role

The Recreation Attendant ensures guests enjoy safe, clean, and well‑organized recreational facilities at the hotel. This role combines guest service, facility oversight, and activity support to create a positive leisure experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, explain available facilities, and assist with equipment rentals and reservations.
• Supervise pools, beaches, gyms, playgrounds, and sports courts, ensuring safety rules are followed.
• Set up, inspect, and maintain recreational equipment such as bicycles, kayaks, and sports gear.
• Organise and support recreational activities, games, tournaments, children’s programs, and fitness classes.
• Keep all recreation areas clean, tidy, and well‑stocked with towels, chairs, umbrellas, and other amenities.
• Monitor guest safety, provide basic first aid when trained, and follow emergency procedures.
• Maintain attendance logs, equipment rental records, and incident or feedback reports.
